    Basement finishing
    $31,360

I hired Providence Always LLC ( Fernando Ferrari ) over a year ago in July 2022 and paid him more than $31K. The work started in June 2023 since the permits kept getting delayed and Fernando never cared to get it done properly. The township rejected the permits twice before approving it the second time. Once the work started, it became very difficult to get hold of Fernando. He wouldn’t answer calls and would recite a new excuse every time. Apparently he got COVID twice in 3 months. He is always traveling out of state and the reception isn’t great, while the texts are coming and going. His crew came twice in 1 month and then stopped coming at all. The framer said Fernando hasn’t paid him so he won’t come to complete the job. Less than 20% of the work is done so far. I sent him a letter saying I will pursue legal action if the work isn’t restarted. No reply. After digging more, got to know that he has done the exact same thing to more than 8 home owners, some of whom has posted their reviews here. This man is a criminal. Steer clear of him. We are going to initiate legal action and approach NJ authorities.

    Remodel bathroom
    $14,000

He was supposed to remodel our bathroom. Demo went fine, except the trash was never picked up. Tile is down, but not grouted - for over a month, No plumbing is installed, and no electricity working in the bathroom. And no sign of Fernando Ferrari (owner) for over a month. Do not hire him unless you like being left with a mess and your money being stolen.

    Sealed plans for addition
    $7,200

I hired Fernando to have some architectural plans drawn up, which he said would need to be paid for in advance since the architect must be paid. It's now 1-2 months since the plans were supposed to be done, and he's avoiding all forms of communication, claiming to be in a location with bad reception. I managed to track down the architect who visited our house and found that he is missing two payments... Yet Fernando claimed the plans were being sent to me. He made that claim 17 days ago.
We will be pursuing legal action, and if anyone else has been a victim of this company's practices, please contact me and share your story. You can drop me an email at [email protected]

    Bathroom
    $20,000

BEWARE OF THE FAKE REVIEWS ON THIS BUSINESS. I hired Providence Always over a month ago to remodel my 2 bathrooms. The owner, Fernando, is a smooth talker and can swindle you into thinking you're in good hands. After giving the deposit, my experience changed completely; he stopped answering my texts and calls. Regardless of the lack of communication, they started work on 07/01/23. Everything was going fine until on 07/15/23, when the crew working on one of the bathrooms told us they weren't coming back since they weren't getting paid. I called Fernando that same day, he stopped by the house, started screaming at his crew and kicked them out. On Monday, 07/17/23, he came to the house with a different worker who could not communicate with us at all. From then on, the work that he conducted in the 2 bathrooms completely RUINED the work that was done by the original crew. On the 3rd day, 7/19/23, we had to terminate our contract with this company, due to the god awful craftsmanship, lack of communication, and overall TERRIBLY STRESSFUL experience working with Fernando. At this point, we had already paid nearly $18k, with only 30% of the work done. I come to find out this is not the first time this is happening with this company. I am still in the process of taking legal action on this terrible scamming man and his business to get some of my money back. I'm blasting this company on every platform I can in order to spare others from this scam. Please do your homework, visit the contractor's job sites prior to signing anything, and do NOT make the same mistake I did.
