This contractor requested half down and the other half when he finish it is illegal in California to request half down as a contractor for HVAC The unit was defective And he did not hook up the wires properly. Plus the contractor set the unit on a small curve or stand on the roof that nearly fell off twice. He did not follow the installation instructions Now he has my money and won't return it. Very very disappointed. I am pursuing legal recovery my advice. Do not use this contractor
