  Pool heater install

  $4,600

  They were quick to respond to my quote and to schedule install. They quoted me a few heaters and said they got the $400 gas rebate. I asked to upgrade to the Cupronickel Nickel version for durability. They said they would send my invoice so I could submit for the rebate. Turns out it does not qualify for the rebate since it is slightly less efficient. When I brought this to their attention I figured they would apologize and maybe offer to split the difference. Clearly they were not aware. instead they blamed me for upgrading... super disappointed with their response, certainly not customer service oriented. I guess Buyer Beware, I should have verified the rebates, even though they work in the industry and should know…. If they just said they did not know I probably would have been OK, instead they made excuses.

  to make things worse, they heater was not installed to code. They did not not ground, they did not paint the PVC black as required. All in all poor installation. When I asked them to come back to install the ground, they did not keep their appointment, and make an excuse about ordering parts. Obviously any installer is going to have basic wiring, if not there is a Home Depot around the corner. I called them out on the BS excuse, and they admitted they took a different job that was more important. Had they just said, we needed to prioritize a different job, we can come another day that would have been OK. Making up excuses, not OK.

  I for sure would not recommend this company. You will get sub-par service, and will face excuses if you ask to make them right. Very disappointed.

  Pool repair

  $75

  This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with the most unprofessional rude condescending people that I've ever had the ability to work with they don't open on the weekends which makes it even harder to get your equipment serviced they came out after 3 days of being called from American Home Shield warranty showed up found out what the issue was took pictures of the issue came out 5 days later with the refurbished part that was older than me which was the incorrect part and also notice there's another leak from the pipe going into the heater and documented it then came out again 5 days later with the part change that but never address the other leak in the system and act like they fixed everything and refused to come back and repair the leaks in the system that were there when they were here horrible company would never deal with it again unfortunately you're forced to use companies that your home warranty provides to you and this is one of them and I would never recommend it to anyone I would never pay for them were service ever buy or beware

  I’ve read other reviews which were very bad… I have used this company in the past… it wasn’t bad… but it wasn’t good either… They have taken note of those reviews and made a lot of changes… I had great, prompt service… their technician, Francisco, was so nice, friendly and professional.. I HIGHLY recommend him!

  Pool Heater

  Terribly rude incompetent and unprofessional pool company. lst call was suppose to be here between 8-l2, from the Home Warranty people. Arrives at 4:l0 and I tell him you were suppose to be here between 8-l2. He said I'll leave then. He looks at my heater and says its shot and needs to be replaced. Our pool heater is 32 years old and my pool service tells me I need to replace it.

  The next day receive a call from Pure Pool and tell me the tech they sent doesn't know what he's doing and we're sending someone else. We say fine. They flake on 2 separate appointments. Finally come on a late Sunday. I get a call from them and they tell me it needs a new main printed circuit board and an ingniter.
  (On top of that my pool service told me one of the burners is totally deteriorated)

  I'm in a business where we get new PC boards for equipment. How would they find a PC board if that was the only problem on a 32 year old machine?

  Pure Pool also said there would be a $100 charge not paid by the Home Warranty to clean the heater.

  I told them I want a buyout.

  I ordered a new 400,000 BTU Pentair heater from my pool service. Home Warranty said when I send them my bill for replacement they will only reimburse me what they would have paid Pure Pool for the parts and labor to do what they said they would do.

  Aside from being inconsistent, they are rude and arrogant. Check other reviews to confirm what I said.
