  I can't believe this guy is still in business and still scamming people. I had contracted him to install a fiberglass pool 10 years ago. He was responsive until I signed the contract and gave him $10K as down payment to order the pool and begin the project. He then disappeared and would not return phone calls or reply to emails. Months passed with no avail, I contacted the vendor, San Juan Pools, and they indicated they had fabricated and shipped the pool already, so they did their job. However, Eibert was MIA. I finally filed a suit against him to pay back the deposit. We ended up in mitigation at which point he lied to the mitigation attorney, luckily I had evidence to refute his lie. Judgement was made against him to pay back the deposit and I agreed for monthly installments of $500/month. He paid the first month and that was it. Google his name and you'll see other court cases against him. This guy is a crook. Avoid him at any cost. I would give him a 0 rating if I could.

  Install a pool

  Ralph installed a pool for me several years ago. The pool that was installed never worked properly and he refused to repair the pool. The pool was installed in October. When the spring came he failed to set everything up and to give me the parts that came with the pool that he promised, i.e., jet parts, vacuum, skimmer basket, etc. I had to call the company to get these items. Definitely would never recommend this guy to install a pool. The other reviews are correct.

  He didn't even show up for an appointment we had made with him. I stayed home from work for nothing.... didnt ring to apologise and to reschedule the appointment. Thank you for these reviews, I now know to move onto another contractor.

  This guy is the absolute worst, I had similar experience to the other people here. While Ralph is knowledgeable (not just my opinion, my electrical and plumbing subcontractors who worked on my home remodel said the same thing). However, his follow up and communication skills were terrible. The guy never did anything on time and rarely, if ever, responded to emails or phone calls. We did a year long whole house remodel and he was by far the worst contractor we dealt with and he ruined the whole project for us. He also ordered the wrong pump and never completed the installation. I have built or remodeled three houses and this guy was by far the worst I've ever dealt with. AVOID HIM OR YOU WILL BE SORRY.

  Ditto to the above. I am in the process of suing him! The worst . Do not use this ass.

  The service is the worst you will ever experience from a pool contractor or any contractor for that matter, once he gets your deposit he becomes the invisible man. Ralph Eibert (owner of Pure Quality Pools) has been jerking me around for several months with delay after delay, once he didn't return my calls or send me patio designs for an entire month, when he did it was an email of two crappy pages. When I finally got though (this by calling Viking Pools) he said his dog died.
  This is now my third delay as to when the pool will be built and let me say I wish I had never chosen him or Viking for that matter.
  According to Viking, my pool was made and set for delivery on May 9th and will ship as per the contractors instructions. Again, according to Viking this can be in as little as 3 days to a week. Ralph Eibert sends me an email with a tentative installation of the 30th! This after he told me not to worry the pool will be installed way before Memorial day.
  Please listen to this warning and if you find yourself getting an estimate for a pool DO NOT use Pure Quality Pools, you will regret it from the day you sign the contract! Take it from one who has learned a lesson, I wish someone had written a review for him before I made my selection, you have that luxury. DON'T DO IT. There are plenty of good, hard working Pool Contractors in New Jersey, do not waste your breath with this guy!
