  Build our home, finish basement & sought advice when wanted to do other upgrades

  Our almost 20 yr old home was built by Pyramid Properties. We also decided afterwards years later to have Bilco doors added to the basement as well as the completed basement finished. Not a drop of water ever. The quality of our home isn’t only recognized by us, but our long time friend any visitors. The quality of he home is what has kept us from moving even with disappointing changes around our surrounding area, like warehouses. The value of our home is higher than others in our well sought out suburban neighborhood that had homes built by a cookie cutter contractor. We also never built a home before and never had one difficulty when we did this process with Dave Miller & his team. He made the process easy during a stressful time. I only hope if we ever downsize or change residence, he is still building homes.

  Our experience with Pyramid Properties was a terrible stressful experience from the beginning to end. The mason they hired to do the foundation for our addition totally tore up our yard with his tractor. The roofer they hired left us with a roof that leaked into our house when it rained. Some of the shingles that he installed had no nails in them, just glue. All of the materials used and the sub-contractors were the cheapest low grade that they could find. The electrician that did the wiring borrowed tools from me since he only had 14 tools and worked out of the trunk of his car. When all of the construction was completed we had to wait for our yard to be filled in and reseeded. The grass has now come up and most of the planting is weeds and crab grass. The fill that was used to level the yard is now like concrete, and the grass is turning brown. I will have to totally redo the section that was destroyed. I would not ever hire this builder nor recommend them to anyone.
