  We had a signed contract to repair front stairs, repair foundatuon and fill in walkway cracks. The stairs were never completed. He asked for cash up front the last day of the masonry work on the foundation and assured us that he would complete the stairs as soon as possible. Haven't heard from him since. I wouldn't refer him to anyone horrible horrible horrible. He knows the stairs still need work and has completely avoided us. Great talker think twice.

  new steps and fix pavers

  My saga with Quail Ridge Masonry continues. I had to get imy steps finished with the railing he didn't get put in. It turns out that after not wanting to get a permit to begin with, he didn't measure right on one of the steps and didn't show the town the footings. Now his voice mail is full and he won't call me back from a text. I don't believe this. Who knows my next step? Beware! Don't use him. He promises the world and first doesn't show up and then obviously isn't standing by his work.

  I would not recommend Quail Ridge Masonry. The owner seems to have so many jobs at once which causes so many delays. The owner, Scott Gross will tell you so many times that him and his workers are coming over and they don't show up. He refused to pay for a dumpster which I had to pay $1500 for. He left a large pile of dirt and gravel on my driveway for many months which he never picked up. I had to hire my landscaper to take away the pile which cost $225. Scott Gross claims he'll reimburse me but months have gone by and I haven't seen a cent. It's not worth all the headaches when it comes to Quail Ridge Masonry.

  Repair a curb

  This company is the worse. Takes a deposit, cash only. Does not give receipt or paperwork for the up coming repairs. States he will start in a week or so , but needs deposit to get supplies. Calls to say he’s coming and gives you the run around and never shows. Never started the job . We call and text numerous times , from April 2021-Nov 2021.
  Finally we cancelled the job and asked for our deposit back. Once again, said he would do the job, but never returned . Since Nov 2021 to present we have not received our deposit back. He even suggested to open a Venmo account to deposit money owed to us. To date no deposit back. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! Stay away from this company . He takes your hard earned money and runs.

  Walkway and backyard work

  $7,500

  Hired Scott Gross to do my walkway and and some other work. He needed the deposit by the next day but never showed up to work. When you call him and he actually answers the phone he keeps saying he would be here on a certain day but never shows up. After over a year he dropped off a guy for maybe an hour to outline the areas they were supposed to work on, and two weeks later said he was waiting on a concrete truck and would be here. Once again didn't show up to work but called a day later to say he needed more money to come back. When he was told no money until work was actually done he went to my house and told the person home he spoke to someone and was supposed to pick up money that day. He also asks for cash and "says" he will give a discount so he probably doesn't even report any of the money he takes for jobs he doesn't do. None of "his guys" speak English so you can't talk to them about anything either. I cannot stress it enough - DO NOT HIRE SCOTT GROSS of Quail Ridge!!!!!

  I wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy. I paid him for a job 02/21, we are now in 03/22 and my job is still not complete. He texts and calls lying all the time about coming to finish the job and never does it. He tried to lure money out of me to do pavers and my front steps over, something told me not to trust him which I didn’t. He is the worst, I would rate him a negative infinity. His attitude sucks and he’s all over the place, very unorganized. He has come pulled up slabs in front of my house and hasn’t completed the job I think he likes drama. I wish I knew how to post photos

  Took my $10k 12 months ago. Tells me everyday he will be here to work on the job and doesn't show. Beyond frustrated.

  Backyard paving stone area

  Hired Scott Gross to do the project on 11/9/2021. Paid the deposit 2k and was told the job will be done in 2 weeks. Since then he never came back to do the actual job, nor did he return the deposit.
  Very unprofessional, liar. Please stay away from company like this.

  new concrete block steps and lime stone caps + lime stone around porch+ Belgium blocks on the drivew

  Proposal agreement approved and signed 4/27/2021
  Based on the agreement it could he advised be would start in May and but would be completed before end of July. The job was only a week or less to do. Scott- ADVISED IN MAY. All he purchased and & had all products just needed to get the schedule worked out. He started finally on 9/9/21.
  11/1 Job paid in full - last 3K in cash with the agreement (So he can pay his crew) that he would come back 11/4 to finish that last 30-45 min part. Yet, today 12/23/2021 Still NO Show to daily texts and calls to finish this. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! He needs to finish jobs before moving on. I'm happy to share with anyone my dissatisfaction.
  The workers did a very good job but what does it say when he can't finish what he promises or can’t keep a promise.
