As his company name suggests, the proprietor of Qualico Construction, Richard Smith, builds quality, custom cabinetry - all at a reasonable price. Our kitchen remodel required specific cabinet units to fill in the "gaps" between existing cabinetry, and Richard knew exactly what issues should be addressed and how to resolve potential problems. The resulting products exceeded my expectations and fit beautifully into our "new" kitchen. I will definitely use Qualico Construction again on future projects and highly recommend the company to anyone desiring quality work from a professional craftsman.

I have used Richard for many many projects including personal and business. He has made custom furniture for my home that is beautiful. In addition I also contracted him to build all the fixtures for my retail store. Everything he does is excellent quality. I would get lots of requests in the store for the builders name. He can make anything out of wood and make it beautifully. No wonder HGTV snagged him to do work for one of their shows!

Richard Smith and his crew did a beautiful job remodeling the master bedroom, adding a small TV room off the bedroom, and upgrading our bathroom. Our house was built in 1976 so these upgrades were sorely needed. We were very pleased, especially with the bathroom which is now more senior-friendly. He removed the bathtub and built a walk-in shower with a bench and handheld shower head. He is very trustworthy; we vacated the premises and left the country for a few weeks while Richard and his crew worked in our house completely unsupervised. We came home to a clean house and a new bedroom, TV room, and bathroom. We would highly recommend Qualico.

Richard is a very talented builder, with great ideas. His prices are competitive and I know that his work is top quality.

We've hired a few general contractors for projects, but Richard and his team at Qualico Construction are top tier. From their creative approach in turning the concept into a detailed computer design, to the build milestones we mutually managed, the team was professional and committed to detail. In addition, my wife was most impressed by the crew at the end of each day – no tools lying around, and no trash in the work area. Their in-house ability to create custom cabinetry as well as finishes was also a big plus for us in selecting Qualico. All in all, a great experience from a highly professional team.
