Quality Ceiling Refinishing

RUN! They do more damage than they fix. They destroyed my banister, walls, and didn't paint the ceiling in the stairwell. They said they would fix it but of course, like the others say they didn't. RUN! What a horrible company, and they straight up lie to your face. If you are unhappy, they get all belligerent and try to argue you down. If you say anything back they are quick to tell you how you are supposed to deal with them and speak to them, but they are dishonorable. I was promised a check to repairthe banister. And they were supposed to show back up to actually paint the ceiling in the stairwell...crickets, people. Crickets! Check the photos on google reviews. I would post them here, but it doesn't allow it.

Quality Ceiling did a terrible job repairing a ceiling crack in my living room. They attempted the repair three times and each time did damage to other areas in my home. The crack is still visible and I now have spray paint on my front door, railings and balusters, damage to my railing where the paint hose wore a divot in it, and primer stains on my driveway, I was promised that the damage to my front door, railing, balusters and driveway would be repaired but almost 6 months later I am still waiting for these items to be repaired. We are both seniors, my husband a veteran and we feel like we were misled and cheated out of our hard earned money.

Two weeks of cleaning and hiring people to clean and repair. Over $1000 of damages and dust. Anthony, his crew and their unprofessionalism turned my home into a disaster zone and could care less.

Two Mistakes: I should have never hired Quality Ceiling Refinishing and I should have never paid them in full. Their workmanship was very amateur. Anthony was substandard for quoting the job and describing the mess (inexperience or lack of concern). It took over two weeks for them to follow up on my concerns. Although Anthony was very adversarial on the follow up, he offered to repair their mistakes. I declined based on their original workmanship.

We had our popcorn ceilings replaced with Knockdown texture by Quality Ceiling. The crew that did the job were neat, clean and very respectful of our home. There was a small about of dust that appeared after the crew left but I expect that since they had to cut out some drywall that was damaged from a previous leak. They bagged everything up before starting the work then removed the bag after. Not sure how you could get around not having some drywall dust. I went with this company because they’ve been in business for over 40 years. After reading other reviews and weighing my options I felt comfortable giving them the opportunity. I am not disappointed.

These people did a terrible job! They were to scrape, re-texture and paint my ceiling. They did that okay but in the process made a huge mess of my walls. The contract said they would caulk the line between the wall and the ceiling. They did not do that. They left a terrible paint line and smeared texture all over the place. I had to have a painter come back in and repair what they messed up. Also, before they started I told them to be careful to cover my brand new wood floors. They said they would put down plastic. I told them specifically that I wanted more protection and they failed to do that. They put at least 30 scratches, dents and gouges in my new wood floors. I have to pay others almost $1000 to come in and fix what they messed up. Worst of all they refuse to take responsibility for their lousy job and damage to my home. They even tried to blame me for rescheduling the job! Unbelievable!
Don't let these people anywhere near your house! They are the worst!
