I hired QC to removed a bathtub and install tile. The tile job was fine, but the subcontractor took almost 2 weeks to finish. Overall, the tile job was acceptable. However, the trim handle was so loose and I had to call them back. The tile setter came back and likely forced it in too far resulting in damage to the valve. When I spoke to the tile setter he indicated that he positioned the new valve too far in the wall cavity. So I left it at that. A few weeks later I see water drops coming from the front below the handle. So I disconnect the shower head to make sure it's no leaking. After a few hours it's apparent the valve is leaking. Called Quality Craftsmen over the course of 3 days, no call returned. I messaged the Salesperson, she said she would escalat e to production, no call back. Also messaged the person and she said she was going to send the tile setter back out. I said that this is a job for a licensed plumber, and the tile setter is not a licensed plumber. Horrible customer support once they have your money. I specifically paid more money to have a licensed contractor who honors their warranty. So far, they have not.
