Contracted with Claude Caron and Ray Tippins on 8-18-2017 to repair a portion of the seawall cap and repair seawall erosion. Work was completed on 8-21-2017 and I paid them 2500.00. They stated that the repair would stop the erosion for 3 years. The Friday before hurricane Irma I noticed the base of the boat davit had started to wash out again just from a normal rain. The day after Irma I checked the property and the portion of the wall they had claimed to repair collapsed into the canal and broke the section of cap they repaired. I called Claude the next day and told him about the collapse and he said he would take a look at it. I left a message for Ray Tippins and he never returned my call. I finally had to call Claude today 9-18 to find out what they were going to do to fix the damage. Ray Tippins stated that I was responsible for the collapse and twisted the previous conversation we had before the work was started. He claims that he told me the first storm we have after the repairs are completed would collapse the wall. Why would I spend 2500.00 to have repairs made that would fail instead of just leaving the erosion as it existed If the wall was going to collapse anyway? They have treated me like I am stupid and have misrepresented the work they would perform. Now I have a collapsed wall and no consideration from them. Do business with them at your own peril. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANY KIND OF WORK!!!

Contracted with Claude Caron to repair our home after Hurricane Irma flooding. We made the mistake of paying him what he asked for up front. Not only did we come to realize he charged us twice as much as he should have but it took him 4 months to complete the job that should have taken 1. We were without a home and he was aware of this. He showed up occasionally to work and the end result was terrible quality work.
He took advantage of us after the hurricane. He misrepresented the work he would perform for the price. We would NOT recommend him for any work!
