This woman previously had a terrible installer install a sliding glass door in her home. Then contacted me to try to fix a leak she had by the door. The previous installer cut the weather flange off the new door witch stops the door from being weather tight. So the door leaked when it rained. It was explained to her that i will not take the door out becuase the door will be damaged because of how it was installed. She said she understood. So i proceeded to tear off and replace the siding j channel and place ice and water on the wall sealed the door with adhesive flashing. The leak was fixed she said.i also explained to her if it does leak now she would need a new door. I did all of this for a cut rate of $650.00 witch barley coved my time and material because i felt bad for her.after she called and said it was leaking again i told her that i was gonna come out and check the door again to see if i could find the issue.she couldnt wait and took it upon herself to rip and tear the work that we did that was correct.and created more problems. And i refused to go back. And will not be fixing other installers work anymore.
