AHS assigned them to repair our AC. They were to replace a capcitor and wire, and wired the system
    $2,799

This company can not be trusted. I have been going through so much stress over the past week because of them. First of all, they came to repair the AC system that had a bad capacitor and wire. They replace those and tell me the system is in good condition. Later that day I notice the unit isn't actually coming on when the thermostat sends a signal. They come back and tell me my system is 5 pounds low on refrigerant and want to charge me $400 to top it off. I question this as 5 pounds is a lot (half of my systems refrigerant) and they tell me that it's a micro leak, and that it's common to top off 1-2 pounds a year. I know better and I question if they checked the system 2 days prior when they made the repair, how 5 pounds would be lost in 2 days, and why they call that a micro leak. They don't give any straight answers and tell me that I'm right, and that the coil has a leak so they need to replace it. They seemingly doctor the estimate so the home warranty won't cover any of the cost, so I had my own company that I do trust come out. Turns out the AC system is not low at all, and that their guys wired things backwards (the upstairs unit to the downstairs thermostat and vice versa). When I questioned them on this, they claim they are not crooks. They don't answer the phone, and they don't return calls. I can only imagine how many people have spent thousands of dollars to replace a coil because they said it was needed, when it was clearly incompetence or they scam people. Either way, don't trust these people. Terrible customer service (what service company doesn't return phone calls?), and terrible service (what company messes up the most trivial thing, then lie about why the system is failing just to get you spend thousands of dollars on repairs that aren't needed.
