I was hired on march 20th to run a job for Brian, the pay I was requesting was 20 dollars an hour. I have my own tools and experience. We settled at 16 dollars an hour, I was payed this to be trained to spray. I learned to spray the first day I had picked up the sprayer. I did a professional job as my experience allowed me to coat the wall evenly the first time. The guy that was under my wing trained me to spray. This young man was only being payed 13 an hour. Brian told me I would be running the job. On April 4th, I showed up at 8:00 as expected. I stared prep work on the front door. This took me 3.5 hours to do. At 11:30, Brian showed up. I masked up one side of the door and Brian proclaimed I was doing it wrong. He started spraying primer on the trim before I had a chance to finish. The over spray got on the rim of the trim, making it hard for the masking tape to stick. He left. Shortly after making a mess. There was overspray on the wall and around the rim of the trim. I finally got the tape to stick, Brian came back proclaiming I was taking to long to tape the door off. I explained to him that it was due to the primer that he had sprayed before I finished masking. This made him angry. Brian is not professional, he only came by the job to tell me and the guy that was working with me, how to do the job slower. Brian complained we where going to slow, as if the pay we recieved was not deserved. Expected us to compleate the job faster, but sead and did things to slow the job down. The day prior to the 4th Brian told me to have the guy I worked with to use a 4inch brush and brush the gutters that where located at the back of the house. I told the guy that worked with me to brush the gutters, but then we made the executive decision to use a 4 inch roller to speed things up. As Brian was telling us to do things to slow the job down, and then getting mad because we where going to slow. I quit the job on April 4th due to his inability to allow me to run the job. I would not hire him, nor would I work for him. I was not given a W2 to fill out, and was expected to pick one up myself. Bryan took3/4 of what the bid had Providded and was crooked in how he ran the bizness

Disappointed on the customer end. Brian quoted me a job and ran $12k over budget. When “finished” I spent 2 days taking down masking tape, screwing wall plates back on. Cabinet doors that brian had taken to his shop were dropped back off at the job site and not reinstalled. When I asked why he hadn’t finished the job that we’d paid him to do, he balked with excuses. Then he sent a worker out who broke the tracks on the door in an attempt to reinstall. Rather than reaching out to me to let me know, I discovered this on my own one month later, when the house was for sale and buyer under contract requested that the doors be repaired. The business model here seems to be to charge the customer exorbitantly for an unfinished job and to, from the post above, pay a non-livable wage to employees. I couldn’t be more disappointed with a painting company and would strongly urge you to look to someone else for honesty, integrity and quality.
