RSAP did our driveway in 2009. The oil based sealcoat barely lasted 2 years and unfortunately my husband allowed RSAP to do the sealcoat again for another 2 years. We phoned someone else to do a sealcoat in 2014 and the contractor commented on the poor paving job due to all the edge cracks and breaks in several other spots. We're senior citizens and the ONLY vehicles using the driveway are our two cars so abuse is not something we do. Pavers are currently being installed which is resulting in some of the pavement being removed. This contractor is in awe at how thin the pavement work is. Wish we had our $8000+ back!!
Response from R.S Asphalt Paving July 9, 2015so sorry you feel this way, we are confused because we have our number listed yet we have never recieved one call from you as to complain, how are we able to make good on a complaint that we know nothing about, we are also confused because we dont usually work in selingrove we work williamsport , we were subcontracted on a sub in selinsgrove that we helped out a fellow paver if that is the case you may have contacted them and we didnt recieve any information on the complaint , we did not come back a sealcoat that perticular job im not sure because again nobody contacted us with a complaint but with that said we have had some rough winters which have even been hard on the roadways with all the potholes and i am sure penndot spares no expense , but it is now 2015 that is 6 yrs and we are just now hearing of this complaint , i dont understand why you didnt call when your warrenty was in effect, we honor our work and would have been happy to fix any problems so sorry this happend to you i hope you have the right contractor , it would be ashamed to bad mouth the wrong one ,,thank you very much , and i hope you find satisfaction with you new driveway . -

RSAP Paving did my driveway, this is a family business I guess, Richard's grandfather came and quoted my price. They came back about a week later and took another look, said that they needed to grid down 2 sections of my driveway (top part near my garage and bottom part near the street) gave me another quote and added sealing the driveway with an oil base sealer. I am beyond happy with the actual driveway, I only wish Richard would come back and do the sealant. It has been almost a year since this work was done and the driveway is still not sealed. I call and leave messages but never get a return call. starting to get frustrated doesn't make me feel that my 2 year warranty will be worth anything
