  Rick Turner does build quality projects, that I will not hold against him. However the good quality ends there. Rick Turner is the biggest asshole I have EVER worked for in my entire life. I have worked for many large and small construction companies over the years, but none were ever as bad as with Rick Turner. He does not hold a single shred of value towards his employees. On a daily basis, he swears at us, down talks, & degrades us. In total this last week, he has called myself and the one other employee a piece of shit to our faces, more than 6 times daily. He treats his employees like slaves, and expects us to speak to him with high respect. When that same respect is not given in return. I am early to work every day, and put in 12-13 hours a day of hard work. Almost every contractor I have worked for has considered me a high quality employee, with a high regard to attention to detail. Then I started on with Rick Turner, and since day one, have been shit talked daily. He threatens to fire employees if they have to miss work for important things like doctor apointments, and even personal things like a funeral for a family member. He does not follow any OSHA workplace saftey standards, on more than one occasion I have asked for PPE Equipment, and was denied, and made to work in unsafe conditions without it. He expects us to be on roof rafters, and perlins on heights of 30-50' without a fall protection harness. We are not allowed ANY breaks during our 12-14 hour shifts. He does not take lunch breaks, and if you ask to take a break he either calls you a pussy, or threatens to fire you. He hired a young man for summer in between years at high school, the guy had no construction experience. He was only 17 years old. Rick screamed at him for 2 days straight, because the guy didnt know what he was doing. Unlike most companies, where they will train you, and teach you how to do things you have never done, Rick EXPECTS you to either know already, or to figure it our on your own. Needless to say after those 2 days of being treated like shit, the guy quit. Currently his staff, is Himself (Rick Turner) myself, and one other employee. The only reason I have not quit yet, is because I have a family depending on me. The other guy is on his last strings, and will not put up with Ricks treatment of employees much longer. On top of everything stated above, he evades taxes by paying the overtime in cash. Im not usually one to complain or talk smack about others. But I have never dealt with or worked for anyone as bad as Rick, and feel that the truth needs to be braught into the light.
  As I said he does do quality work for his customers, but he is a terrible person to work for. If I could give negative stars I would have.
