    Roof eave repair

    10/10 would reccommend.

We have a 163-year old historic home in Chesapeake City, Maryland, with all the woodwork issues you can expect from such a home. In 2019 we hired contracters to repair wood rot under our 3rd floor roof eaves that allowed squirrels to get into our attic. Their work was substandard, so we had to have their firm replace them with another crew who completed the job. Within six months that repair work fell apart, so we hired an independent carpenter to close the squirrel holes and repair the wood trim under the eaves. That repair lasted about a year, when it, too, literally fell apart.

We hired Mark Rahn and were immediately impressed by his knowledge and ability. He showed us how the previous work had only hidden the wood rot instead of repairing it. He used town-approved materials, showed up when he said he would, and charged us what he had estimated. The work was performed quickly, efficiently, and CORRECTLY.

What had been a very visible embarrassment to us is now a point of pride. For the first time in two years we feel confident that our home has been repaired with what is not only solid construction but also esthetically pleasing craftsmanship.

In our experience, you cannot go wrong hiring this man for your carpentry/home repair needs.

    George Still, Chesapeake City, MD.
