Don't expect the "foreman" to actually oversee the site work. Everything they do is by phone. I have had multiple times when I had to call the "foreman" to advise of mistakes - the actual shape of the pool when the rebar was installed NOT to specs (and he even showed up after it was formed and didn't do anything about it until I called him on it), gas line was attached along the side of my house for about 30 feet AFTER we discussed that very morning the gas line was to run below ground; the tile contractor they "exclusively use" left holes all over the grout lines with white mastic sticking thru (grey grout) on the water feature wall. When I told the office this needed to be removed, and reskimmed, the tile contractor came out, leaned over the water feature wall with his butt in the air and literally smeared the grout into joints with his fingers. A Brand NEW gunite pool at $50K plus with a patch job! And mind you, this is a small project, 12 x 16. Now for the real issue, the pool has been leaking since day one. Not 1/4" , 4 inches over 3 days with nothing running! I guess pool contractors don't realize $50K is a HUGE SPLURGE for us. Absolutely no pride in workmanship . I am so disappointed.
And don't forget, there is NO one on site that speaks ENGLISH. EVER. I just want to cry.
