We hired him to build a screen-in room. He suppose to finish it in 3 weeks. We paid about half at the beginning of job. For 2 weeks everything was going good frame, roof, floor than he ask for some more money. We gave it to him even it wasn't the deal but had no reason to doubt it but he start acting up. Neither him (Ralph Stahl) neither his subcontractor John Nichols who suppose to do the outside siding didn't show up nor answer to messages or calls. Took a piece of siding from the house to match it with the porch and never put it back. Pick up their tools and materials when we wasn't home and gone. Is a scam contractor. Don't fall into his talking like we did! Wish we never known him!

He is a conman. He only wants cash, won't give a written detailed estimate, does what he wants, not what the client wants. Left workers alone in house. Jewelry ended up missing. Did horrible grout, tile, drywall and paint job. Left grout on tile and drain cover. Was supposed to come back and fix these items, but didn't. Broke back storm door by propping a 4x8 piece of subfloor on it. Removed 2 closet doors and didn't replace them. Do not use him.
