I had a relatively small job as I needed a 12 X 16 concrete pad for a shed I am installing. I received the quote in a timely manner and was treated professionally by the owner of the business,, Armondo. His crew was courteous and did beautiful work. Good concrete companies are hard to come by and I am more than satisfied with the entire experience.

Had my driveway, patio, walks and stoops done. Very nice company but not very responsive. Poured on June 17th and striped forms on June 27th. Still have not finished backfilling drive and walk, today is July 10th. . Concrete splatter all over siding and holes where they put the forms. Damaged siding in places and left a mess in backyard with roots and pieces of concrete. Concrete around awning posts is terrible. Called numerous times and get no response. I would find another contractor or get everything in writing ahead of time.

BUYER BEWARE. I called for them to quote my front stairway replacement. We scheduled twice because they did not show up the first time. My parents were outside waiting for them both times. They stood us up both times. Neither time did they call to say they could not come. I personally travelled to the suburbs from downtown via Metra in order to meet them and discuss the project. No show and did not call or receive calls. The second time around when they were a no-show, I called it went straight voicemail. They never responded to my voicemail or text. The most unprofessional contractors I have ever dealt with. Ramirez Concrete can’t even keep a simple appointment for an estimate and doesn’t have the decency to communicate a single thing. Buyer beware!!!
