I hired Rambo Painting Company to paint my roof and was told I needed to purchase 6 buckets of paint for two coats. However, the crew (led by Rudy) only applied one coat, not the two that were recommended and paid for.
The job was also rushed — Rudy pushed to finish the entire roof in one day instead of the two days that were originally planned, which raises real concerns about whether the work was done properly and whether the paint had adequate time to cure between coats (since there weren't two coats applied at all).
I paid for materials and labor expecting a specific scope of work, and that's not what was delivered. I'd recommend getting everything in writing before hiring this company, and confirming they actually complete the agreed number of coats before paying in full.
