I highly recommend Raneri & Long. They re- roofed and installed solar for us. They did what they said, plus more, and were on schedule. They only varied from the schedule when it was just too hot. If chosen by your client, I am most certain Raneri and Long would perform as professionally for them as they did for us.

Raneri and Long are awesome! They added onto my solar in 2017 and did my original solar in 2015 when they replaced my roof. On time for everything, and even found a $ 2000 savings on my solar addition by finding a less expensive solution to incorporate my solar addition.

I was happy with the job, the results, pretty much everything. I think the price was higher than most, but the product was also better (more insulation, some ventilation that helps reduce heat, etc.). They came when they promised, they cleaned up afterwards... I don't remember too much more because it's usually the problems you remember!
I used the HERO program to finance it, but I would probably suggest they not go that route. No problems yet, but I hear they might arise.
So, I would recommend Raneri. The only other problem, personally, is that one of the reasons I selected them is that they were members of the Lakeside Chamber of Commerce, of which I am chairman (until tomorrow!). They didn't renew their membership, which I would have preferred, as it helps support an important aspect of the community (and would likely generate more business).

Raneri and Long did a tremendous job and are professional and reliable. This is the third roof on different houses they have done for me over the last 20 years or so. This time, however, they also added onto my existing solar system and helped reconfigure to make the performance better. The system was installed perfectly and has been performing as promised for over a year.They also installed a new sliding door that came out great. In fact about a month ago the lock was sticking a little bit and they came out the next day and fixed.I would use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them for roofing, solar and windows/doors.
