Rapid Electric was TOO busy to ever supply me a written bid/contract. I do not know if permits were necessary or pulled. They did show up the day they committed to and performed the work for within $100 of their oral bid. I have assigned a one-star rating due to the fact that they sought immediate payment. This company did not offer me a discount for immediate payment or follow a standard 30-day billing cycle like dozens of reputable companies that have provided home repair services to me for decades. Instead, they wanted a check from me within 30 minutes; going so far as to drive across town to my house to pick up the check. I don't know if they were off to the casino or were about to overdraw their checking account. Regardless, I found this hounding for money, grubby and unprofessional. Now I wait to see if Rapid Electric will follow through on providing me proof of work for my tax/accounting needs.
