1114 Secessionville Road I obtained 3 bids to do some small handyman work to be done. I picked Rapid Repairs, I am a widow and on fixed income, I hired Rapid Repairs to do some work. I received an e mail showing the work to be done. Stating only a few issues. The day they did the work they went and did more repairs that I asked for. So he does the work and sends me a bill, the bill is about $250-$300 more then we discussed. Rapid Repairs never picked up the phone and notified me of any extra work. I can not afford extra work. I received a statement and there is a lot more repairs then I requested. I have the original e mail for the work to be done, then the e mail with a much higher bill then we discussed. I have a voicemail from the tech stating the extra work he performed without my consent. I have a dispute in writting with my credit card company for the overage they charged me, plus the 2 e mails one with the original invoice then the 2nd invoice with the work they were not given permission to do.I think I have enough evidence on how they took advantage of me and yet they have not contacted me nor have they credited my card with the extra work that they did again without my permission. I do not recommend Rapid Repairs to anyone !!
