I have used Raul for about five years and was pleased with him until recently. Please note that prior to now, he painted for me through a contractor and that is probably why I was pleased with him. In April 2022 Raul agreed to paint my fence, my front porch and my cedar columns. I paid Raul in advance for the supplies. He told me he would be finished with my project before Easter. Let me remind you that Easter was April 17th. Raul completed only a portion of the project before Easter. I had to stay on top of him to come back to finish the porch. When he finally came back, I paid him the remainder of what I owed for the project. He painted the fence but did not complete the entire fence. Within a month the paint on the fence was peeling. He was supposed to repair/redo it but he has not been back since. Repeated calls and text messages to him went unanswered for the most part. When he did occasionally call me back, he had excuse after excuse and "would be there tomorrow". I have finally given up on him. I don't understand someone who does not stand by their word. I have been a business person for 47 years and I don't know how people like this stay in business. I guess he only does so because he mostly works for a contractor. I do not appreciate being taken. He did the same thing to my son and I should have learned from that. I don't typically write reviews, but do not want someone else to fall prey to his bad business practices.
