  Repair Air Conditioner

  Returned after 3 month absence, thermostat had been left at 85 degrees. The house was at 95 degrees, air handler running, condenser unit totally off.
  System installed 2 years prior by Ray's Discount Air on recommendation of builder. Left message at 9:04 PM, air out please call.
  Friday 9:14 AM I called, Ray said he had not checked messages, would come that afternoon.
  No one came, 6:52 left message to call me.
  Saturday 8:58 AM he told me he was on his way.
  11:15 AM left message where are you.
  11:36 missed his call
  12:16 he was sending someone, would be there in 1 hour. His time spent mostly talking to Ray over phone. I was told the thermostat wire to outside unit needed to be replaced and he didn't have any. I told him I would get the needed wire at which time he found some in truck. I crawled under house to thread new wire. Ray came late in afternoon, said system fixed, wanted $275.00 but quickly reduced to $200.00 when told I was who crawled under house. We left at same time to allow house to cool down. We returned one hour later to a hot house.

  Called Cunningham Heat and Air, Tech would arrive between 8AM 12 Tuesday.
  Tuesday 8:56 Tech would arrive shortly, which he did.
  System out of Refrigerant, the leak was obvious, unit had been wired to run to make it appear it was fixed.

  He installed a new compressor less than a year ago. Unit cycled on and off. Shut it down and called for service. Two days later an unqualified guy showed up. Couldn’t fix it and didn’t know what was wrong with it. Then he tells me that labor and Freon are not included on the warranty. this guy‘s work is so shoddy that he won’t warrantee his own work for a year. Well needless to say called and texted Ray numerous times with no reply. Mailbox is full so I couldn’t even leave a message. Had to call another company who came in two hours and said but he did with the install was incorrect. So now after paying that dirt bag for a brand new unit I have to shell out another $1100 to the new company and have his work repaired. Don’t call him. He never registered my unit. New company did it for me. He is a hack and a liar. Btw. It’s now 5 days and still haven’t heard from him.
