Something is terribly wrong with the management of this company. Since purchasing our home in Port Charlotte over three years ago, we have had sewage backing up in our showers. Each time Ray's came did a snake and charged us. This last time it lasted only two months they recommended S.O.S. claiming it was septic problem. S.O.S. is only a few minutes stated it was a plumbing problem and any plumber worth their salt could see it. S.O.S. stated that Ray's should come and correct the problem and apply the $300. from the last call that did nothing to correct the problem. They also gave us the number of another plumber. Ray's knew that for days by then we had to go to McDonald's to go the bathroom. Not only did Ray's get back in a timely manner, the company made it all too clear that they did not care. The new plumber came an cleaned out the pipe under the house to the septic completely clogged with grease going back to the 1980's. Again a problem they stated was totally obvious. The new plumber fixed the situation decades in the making in one hours time. Why Ray's could not will remain a mystery. Its not rocket science. But at age 61, you know when a company really doesn't care about the customer and only for a billable service call, actually multiple service calls. I hate writing a review like this one but Ray's after so many years in business has lost its way.

Phil was on time, went right to work knew what he was doing, and more helpful than I expected. I don’t know what else one can desire from a home technician. Will have him back when needed again

Called and told plumber was on his way. Almost an hour later, had not arrived. Called again, told he was 3 minutes away. Advised me that garbage disposal motor was burned up. I had another new one on hand. Wanted to charge me over $200 to switch them out. I refused; he left. I called to address Ray's about it, and the woman on the phone hung up on me. Ultimately we solved it ourselves, and the motor was not burned out. Would have given minus stars. Rude, untrustworthy, in my opinion.
