Excellent work, reliable and professional in every respect. My wife and I own a 90 year old Florida Cracker style home in the city of Frostproof. We enjoy the peace and quiet here and wanted to improve our home for comfort and to be able to have family and guests stay with us. RB builders designed and constructed a 264 square foot addition that doubled the size of our kitchen making it an eat in kitchen complete with all new cabinetry and a dishwasher and new sink with the best quality marble counter tops. The addition includes a second full bathroom, 8 ft long two door closet, and a complete laundry room with linen closet. Instead of conventional doors they installed pocket doors throughout the new addition to give a more spacious appearance. Due to the age and construction they had to level the back of the house and front porch. They completely renovated the front porch and made the porch entrance 2 doors with 6 ft wide steps going up to the porch for safety. They installed two lantern style lights on the porch with dusk to dawn automatic control that provides illumination when we leave or return home at night. Because the house is frame construction above ground there was complete opening below and this permitted cold air in the winter and loss of air conditioning in the summer. They designed and constructed a solid wall going around the house. It is painted to match the concrete foundation of the addition. They removed all the 90 year old sash windows that allowed all the air conditioning to leave and installed the highest rated thermo-pane windows throughout. Our home is now much more comfortable winter and summer. Then they supervised an irrigation company putting in a new sod lawn with 6 zones of irrigation. My original well was not functional. RB Builders had an excellent well company drill a new well and replace the pump and motor. Amazingly, their well company managed to get my 10 year old irrigation pump replaced under warranty at no charge. Finally I had them install a 4 ft high vinyl picket fence across the entire front of our property. Routinely, people driving past stop and compliment us on our beautiful home.
