I employed RDDNY through another contractor, who subcontracted it out, which was a mistake.I had a great relationship with Carlos and his brothers, and they were largely responsive to all questions, during the work onsite I was happy with the progress, however I found it hard to get them back to fix mistakes, and complete the punch list.However, I had a bigger problem with the main contractor, who I did mistrust.
Response from Rddny Design Build January 16, 2020Trino, the punch list was complete before we finish the job. Second, we rebuild from scratch the small room that leads to the rear yard in the basement. The existing room all the walls which were made out of 2x4 were rotted. We decided to remove all and build it from CMU block, we install metal deck and pour cement, We install a French door that you provided, We also stucco the exterior of the the new concrete block walls, we install slate tiles that you provided, we install hand rails, and metal stairs which lead from the second floor to the rear yard. After we finish all the work you decided not to pay the additional cost of 5000 dollars to rebuild this room. After 18 months you call me asking if I can come to fix a leak in the same room that you didn’t pay the additional cost. I told you Trino, do you think is fair for me to come back and fix a leak even though you have not pay me for that portion of work. You told me you will call me back and never did. -

Rddny Design Build were brought to my from a consultant that I would not hire again, but I did like Rddny. I don't know if they do residential work or only commercial. But Carlos was who I dealt with and I liked him very much.
