Ready Dig Excavation Team fell short. 18 feet to be exact that’s how much clay pipe they left behind.
April 2016 the Project Manager found this team working in the area. They negotiated the replacement of the main.
Original Problem main was backing up in the basement. The goal to fix it so this never had to be dealt with again.
Issue 3 years in the main was backing up into the basement. The main was snaked issue thought to be a fluke caused by
Roots on the city side. What else should someone think after having the main replaced three years earlier.
April 2020 4 years later we had the main backing up into the basement. We had it snaked and scoped. We had found the
issue was ours.
Ready Dig Excavation failed to replace whole main. Todays Issue there are roots in the main drain.
There is separation between the PVC and Clay. The Team was called out and discussed the issue.
The representative remembered exactly what happened. They stopped the new PVC when it got difficult
to dig in the tree roots. Discussion on how to proceed/fix issue occurred. Today the team ignores our calls and text.
After receiving quotes the fix will be costly excavating , replacing/repair of main and disposal of driveway that
will be required to be removed than later repaired. Did I mention this is a new drive way laid after the main was
Replaced.
I recall the Team telling me I was getting a deal…
This repair will cost more than there original cost to replace entire main
If the cost seems too good to be true it probably is!
