Recchie Brothers Construction is a family-owned construction company based in South Florida founded by the three Recchie Brothers back in 2003. The brothers would go on to create a company that values family, honesty and hard work. Our goal is to be honest and transparent, we understand it can be difficult to hire reliable contractors, our company wants to remove that stigma by creating a friendly professional experience that will leave you feeling like you are getting a quality service. We aim to satisfy and go above and beyond for our clients. We have over 30+ years of experience in the construction and contracting industry , we want to use our skills to help with your next project!
Our company believes in equal access for the community, we are Deaf friendly, we offer sign language interpreters for any individuals who might need them during a job bid.

Please do not hire this contractor. I entered into contract with him between the dates of July 31,2018 and August 3, 2018. I found him on Buildzoom with a real high rating. (Top 1% on Buildzoom) We went into detail over the scope of work that needed to be done. The General Contractor Richard Recchie told me it would be 25 days to complete which I thought was a little ambitious. The Recchie Brothers Construction Company started working right away. I thought it was great. They tore down the non-supporting wall in the kitchen that I had wanted done to open up the space, moved some of the plumbing, scraped the popcorn off the ceiling and refinished it, painted and textured the walls, put up lights in the ceiling. About once a week he would ask me for more money saying he could not finish the job without it. The last time I gave him money, he was $8500 over budget and I told him no more money. He called his son on the phone. I heard him say to John, "There is no more money here." Richard then turned to me and stated, "You will be in your condo by the end of September." Work slowed down to a snails pace after I told him no more money. Nothing I said or did would get this company to complete this job. I was promised I would be in by Halloween, then Thanksgiving, then Christmas. All this time I was keeping in contact with my Buildzoom advisor, Hunter Meister. I, also, was monitoring Buildzoom during this time and noticed that the Recchie Brother Construction started and completed 2 jobs of similar size. The flooring is in my home, but not level. and was not protected with anything while they were working, the "custom made" kitchen cabinets that were put up were put up crooked and 4 inches too low so I would not be able to put a coffee pot underneath them. They were, also, not the same height as the pantry. Now Richard is telling me that he needs another $3500 because he has a "cashflow" problem to complete the job. I have asked him for a detailed bill of where the money went, but thus far he has not responded and it is March 20, 2019. I miss my livable home. PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR.

My bathroom remodel took over 3 months, my husband and I had to micromanage every detail. You must have an Idea what you truly want and oversee the project yourself. Yet, at the end of the day, we got what we wanted. Richie will always follow up with you and he does communicate well.

He never returned our deposit or any of our calls and we can not contact him to return our deposit or start our construction...They are completely dishonest and we will report them to our local police department...
