I recently had a huge water leak in my home that ruined my floors and cabinets. Ricky gave me a quote that was equal to the quote of others but his cabinets were of higher quality.
The work was done the day us was stated on the contract. Ricky also helped me with moving a table *which he obviously didn't have to do) . I am very happy with the end result. I would use this contractor again.

I recently bought a lake house and wanted to remodel the kitchen and convert the second 2-car garage to a bunk room for additional guest. He was on it from the start. The day we closed the crew was already taking the garage door down and framing it up with windows and French doors. he did a complete kitchen gut including adding a beam to open it up. We also did a huge 8' by 6' island. This was my first time to use Ricky and since the finish product looks like it was on a TV show I will certainly use him again. I will add that he was a little opinionated on design. I didn't mind as much as I have never done a full on renovation on a home before. However, I did give him the plan I drew up for the kitchen and he offered up deleting some cabinets and doing open shelves and that turned out to a great suggestion.

I do not recommend this contractor. Ricky Chaffin made promises he did not keep. He said he would come by the house frequently to make sure workers were doing everything properly. He did not do this. He promised the remodeling would be done on time. That did not happen. He said it would be finished 3 or 4 weeks after cement was poured. It has been 4 1/2 months and the remodeling is still not completed. Two weeks ago he asked for an additional $9,600.00 that was not in the contract. I fired him. The contract was for $72,200.00 which I paid to have a garage converted into bedroom with bath and a 12 X 12 addition to kitchen. It was a nightmare working with him because he did not listen to how I wanted things. He did not answer my calls and I could only communicate with him by text. Sometimes he would text back and sometimes not for a day or so. At one time it was over a week before he text me back. He needs to get a job doing something else. He is not suited for this line of work. Oh, by the way, I got his name from Home Adviser. Recently, I called Home Adviser to complain about Mr. Chaffin. He had been dropped from their list.
