I hired Red to complete a new driveway, retaining walls, steps, and railing. After receiving the estimate and agreeing to the terms of payment I gave Red a deposit for the services. The day after he cashed the check he contacted me to state that he would not be able to hold the terms of the contract I stated that I would then like my deposit back. After he was rude and stated that he did not have to do so that I was the one breaking the contract I kindly reminded him of the terms that he wrote and signed off on and that he was in violation of our contract. Still waiting for my deposit back.
