Let me start by saying I give Reese one star; total lack of customer service, and failing to fully disclose all costs until the bill was mailed. I would not recommend Reese Electric to anyone. Beware of costs. For example, when I received my bill there was $50 travel fee. The manager, or whatever his title is at their Bandon office never explained a travel fee when I called about them providing an estimate to install what is called a "kick heater". And neither did the electrician when he came out. Additionally, I was billed for two two units of labor, one for when the electrician came out to give the estimate, he spent all of approx 10-15 minutes, then another unit for install. Each unit $95. The electrician told me, his words not mine "the install is pretty easy, maybe 15 minutes, but I have to charge a full hour at $95." OK, I get that, and was ok with it. But geezo, basically billed two hours for a 15 minute job. Oh, and he replaced a wall timer for a basement fan and replaced with a simple on off switch.
When I called to discuss the bill, the manager became defensive and argumentative. When I brought up the issue of the travel fee, his words not mine "oh, I must have failed to tell you." I said "ok, then maybe you can help with that," I received a resounding and an immediate "no'. No hesitation, no "let me take a look at it and I'll get back with you". None of that happened. He went on to say they travel from Bandon to Gold Beach, and I get that too, but had I known from the beginning, I would have shopped for closer electrician
So here is an employee/manager admits he failed to tell me about the travel, and failed to tell me I was going to get billed for basically two house calls.
So yeah, I am not happy with Reese. And would never use them again. With plans to build a house in Gold Beach this year, Reese will not be considered. I just wonder how many others he has slipped that travel fee to.
