About 2 days prior to the fixing of our door, I will provide in the next paragraph of this evaluation, Jesiah Silverman, owner operator of the REFORMATION CONSTRUCTION, Limited Liability Corp (LLC) came to our home to give us a bid on repairing my front entry door. Initially he tried to sell me a new door, stating that a new door would cost at least $450.00. After trying to get me to buy a door he agreed with me that the door i have was actually in good shape (WAS Brand new door when purchased with the home we now live in 2020).
Silverman promised to give me a bid within a day or two. Never did we get that bid prior to my hiring what I thought was someone else to fix our door!
Silverman failed to provide a bid, and also unknown to me sent his employee to do the job (I advised the employee that I was awaiting a bid from another party (Reformation LLC). Since I did not receive the promised bid from Reformation, I told the unknown person on the phone to come over and give me a bid.
The person (unknown to me a REFORMATION EMPLOYEE).upon his arrival he told us that he could do the door job for $200.00! I asked him if he would accept $ 175.00? He told me that he had to check with his boss (which we were still unaware that it was Silverman of Reformation LLC) since I had not received a bid from Silverman). I decided to try something else. Unkown to me at the time Silverman sent his employee back to tell me his boss (Jesiah Silverman) had jacked the price up to $250.00. I reluctantly agreed to the $75.00 increase, just to get this CRAP over with.
When my wife was filling out the Check for $250.00, she needed a name to make the check to? She was told "Reformation", Silverman’s “Restoration”. Should you come across any dealings with this person and his LLC I would advise you to be very careful as he enjoys playing head games and what he doesn’t know is that playing this game will sooner or later catch up!
Please note, the Saving Grace: The employee that Silverman sent to do this job went beyond my expectations and did an excellent job 4 stars! No stars, Beware of the boss!
