Refresh and Build

I had a great experience with Sam and the Refresh & Build crew! From the moment I first met him, he was kind enough to take off his shoes, very kind in explaining the process, asking how much I wanted to be involved in the design or have him take the lead (I let him lead). From there I pulled together a pinterest board, he sent me options for materials and handled all of the scheduling with the crew, inspections, etc. I was pretty hands off with the whole time, and am in love with the result!

I would highly recommend Refresh and Build for any type of remodel. We worked with them for our kitchen remodel and had such a smooth and easy, low stress experience. Everyone was so thoughtful and considerate of the fact that my husband and I both work from home. Each team we had come into our house was respectful and nice. They went above and beyond with small details. I appreciated all their effort to make the most out of our remodel. I can't recommend them enough and I've already given their name out to friends.

We had a wonderful experience from the beginning. Our project manager Sam was extremely helpful and communicative throughout the entire process and went above and beyond to help us navigate, even through inspection delays. It was extremely helpful to have someone that was so punctual, responsive and receptive, and he shouldered a lot of the stress for us as well. We could not be happier with the finished bathroom, it is exactly what we hoped/expected and the craftsmanship and attention to detail is obvious. We will definitely be using Refresh and Build for future projects, and can't recommend them, and Sam, enough!

We just bought our condo and my wife and I wanted to do upgrades before we moved in.

Even before getting the keys, the project manager Paul accepted to meet with us to get a sense of the types of designs we wanted and also get a ballpark price of the remodel.

My wife and I felt very comfortable with Paul, he mentioned that he will help with the permitting and inspections and help choose all the finishes like tiles and counters ..etc.

The price was great, the work was awesome, the crew showed up every day and did an excellent job.

Lucio, the forman was asking us how we would like things, like height of the showerhead, the layout of the tiles and that actually made me very happy.

Customer service was amazing, they picked all the materials we purchased online and all the inspections were passed.

We had to move to relocate during the remodel and they used zoom to update us about the progress.

We are enjoying our kitchen and two bathrooms.

We recommended Refresh and Build to our parents and friends and they're very happy too.

We did a remodel for our bathroom and kitchen with Refresh and Build, it was a great experience, hustle-free. They took care of permits, inspections and the work was flawless with great workmanship.
The price was very affordable comparing other bids we had from other contractors.
I'd recommend Refresh and Build again.

We wanted to build a new ADU in the basement of our building in San Francisco, then we called again Sam from Refresh and Build, to build one kitchen, two bathrooms, and 3 bedrooms.
They gave us a very reasonable price, then applied for the permit and Sam told us it'll be best to do the retrofitting since they were digging to have the 8' ceiling anyway. so they applied for the permit for that too,
They strengthened the foundation, installed all new electrical circuits throughout the floor and new plumbing and new drainage system and passed all rough inspections with flying colors.
Then installed all the walls, patched and painted, installed kitchen cabinets, countertops, backsplash, tiling the bathroom floors, and tub and shower areas, and the all the fixtures,
Everything went smoothly and clear communication and well competent team.
We have now happy tenants that love the place and we are happy too!

The team was professional, courteous, and quality of work was top notch. R&B was flexible with last minute changes we had and accommodating when it came to early finish dates to help our family move in. I would absolutely recommend R&B in the future.

We hired Refresh & Build to renovate our kitchen after the water line to our fridge leaked and caused extensive damage. Sam and his team were absolutely fantastic! Sam was super responsive, went above and beyond with service and communication. His team was extremely professional and did an incredible job. They even finished ahead of schedule. Great bathroom remodel experience with the Refresh and Build team! They were responsive and easy to work with. Their workmanship was excellent as well!!

We hired Refresh & Build to renovate our bathroom. After reaching out for a quote, Sam got back to us quickly and a crew was in for demolition before we knew it. The quality of the plumbing, electrical and tile work was excellent. We found out that some fixtures we had ordered had been discontinued, and Sam worked with us to provide another option which worked perfectly for the room. We only have one bathroom, so was very happy with the speed in which the project was completed. Overall, we’re very pleased with the service and craftsmanship of the work. We’ll definitely work with Sam and crew again for future projects, and would recommend.
