I purchased an A/C unit from this company in November 2017, in the amount of $6840.00 plus $1250.00 for an extended labor contract. The persons we dealt with were named Manny and the registered agent of the corporation Jessica Gonzalez. All was good at the beginning though we had several issues with the system right from the start. He finally got it working correctly after replacing the same part of a brand new a/c unit three times.
A couple of months ago the unit started sending messages that the blower motor was failing. I contacted them and spoke with Manny who said we had to wait until the motor actually failed before he could do anything about it. The messages from the system started coming in daily and I contacted the manufacturer who said the motor needed to be replaced NOW. I contacted Manny again and he said he would order the motor, a couple of weeks went by and I didn’t hear from him. When I called him he said they had sent him the wrong motor and would have to order another one. That was the LAST time I heard from him or anyone from this company. They don’t answer calls or text messages. The motor stopped working altogether and I’ve had to hire and pay another company to fix the a/c. I’m out the $1250.00 paid for the extended labor warranty which was supposed to be good for 10 years as per the contract he rendered.
Don’t do business with this company they are scammers. I checked with Tallahassee and Refrigerant Effect is showing permanently closed and the other corporation they did business under Delta Cool, LLC was also dissolved end of 2020. I truly hope they did scam anyone else.
