  My homebuilder Ryan Brunner with Regency Homes was excellent! He provided me with the most detail of anything I wasn’t assure of. He was consistent with my home being built the way I wanted it, phone calls, any concerns throughout the whole process, Ryan was on top of it even after closing he was still hands on! I’m a happy camper and so is my family.

  I feel my experience with Regency started out great but in the end the final product is nothing like the models they show. I was rushed through my walk-thru which was only hours before my closing, so I felt rushed. The Superintendent who handled the walk thru stayed in the Kitchen while I did the walk-thru by myself. There were a few things I found which were promised to be fixed. They were... Although, things like electrical issues, light fixtures, cracks on patio that have come up later, showed me how shoddy work is done when houses are rush and built in 4 months. I would rather wait 10 months than have a half- a.. job done on something as important as a lifetime residence... 1 year warranties are not long enough either for a house to settle. It was past my warranty when important things showed up. My main complaint was nail pops and bad interior paint job on walls and borders. All border seams are now splitting after only 3 years. I guess the contractors they use don't care as long as they get paid...
  So sad... I wish I knew as a single female, 1st time buyer, I was getting the run around by broker and builder and did not seek legal advice or advocate to assist me with the entire process.

  I wouldn't recommend using this contractor. They find reasons to not honor their 1yr builder warranty, the contractors workmanship is poor but good enough to hold until warranty expires. I filed a warranty ticket for the flooring in my kitchen and they denied it stating water damage. I had dishwasher, refrigerator and sink inspected that turned up negative for leaks. They told me they don't know how the damaged occurred(I guess they're implying sink over running) but water damage not covered. Now my shingles were blown off my roof and they told me to contact the makers of shingles. I did that and after their investigation it was deemed poor workmanship. We'll since it's more than a year now I have to pay to have their sloppy work repaired. If you decide to use them still make sure you read thoroughly their Warranty before signing and have a second inspection done before you close by someone you picked. They speed through closing assuring buyers of their quality work and them honoring their Warranty. They aren't BBB Accredited so they don't respond to issues sent to BBB.
