RIC was enlisted to do some home remodeling for us. We paid $18,236 up front for deposit in June. Work was to begin in September. 30 days prior to work starting our heating and air conditioning system went out. It’s geothermal and unbeknownst to us (new homeowner) it was going to be $15 - $22k to fix. I reached out to RIC to cancel our contract. Was told no problem $236 for restocking fees. 2 days later it was I can give you back $8k the rest within a month. A month goes by and now they say 60 days. No further responses from RIC and we are at the week they said we would have our remaining refund. No materials were purchased for our job since it included Quartz counter tops and RIC can’t provide an itemization of what our money was spent on! Long story short buyer beware our money is unaccounted for and no one will return calls or messages. Also looks to be some newly filed small claims cases from other patrons. Beware.

I contracted RIC to replace my asphalt driveway with concrete, replace concrete stairs, grind and seal/paint my garage floor and fully replace my deck. The deck was horrible, did not meet basic code requirements and I had to have it ripped out and fully replaced the same season. The garage floor is already chopping and cracking. The driveway is cracking and is up to half an inch higher/lower than the sidewalk. They also did not replace or grind the stairs...just painted them. The project was done in a rush since they needed to do a project for their lawyer. When I sent emails with concerns, they threatened to sue me and charge me more. I have a number of pictures to illustrate this project and its failings.
