My 87 year old disabled husband and I hired this company to remodel our bathroom to include a barrier free/roll-in handi-cap shower. When the water is turned on in the shower it flows everywhere due to improper sloping. The tile was not installed properly. The grout looks like mud in some place and is hollowed out and looks cracked. The corners of the shower shows clumps of grout that are kind of in a diamond shape. The grout is uneven throughout. The floor has some raised tiles. One corner in the room looks like mud was splashed on it due to the poor application of the grout. We were unable to get a resolution in writing regarding what they were going to do to fix the many problems, so we hired a certified tile inspector to tell us. The report is similar to a home inspection report. It showed that the shower was not built to ADA specifications and the floor was not sloped properly causing the water to run everywhere. That the grout was not mixed or applied properly and the work needed to be redone to correct all the problems. We submitted this report to Jonathan. He indicated that he should have charged more money for the job, the job was too complex and the company should not have taken it on. Clearly, they primarily do kitchens and were not qualified to do our bathroom. More money into the project would not translate into the skills needed to execute the job properly because the job was finished based on the contract we agreed upon. The men were not qualified to do the job. He said he would give us some of the money back and we could go and get the tile inspector and let him fix it. He said he wasn’t going to fix the problems based on another flooring contractor saying he could do better. That he can always pick apart other contractors work if he had to. We explained that the tile inspector is like a home inspector and you wouldn’t accuse the home inspector of picking apart a builder’s work anymore that you should accuse the tile inspector. The tile inspector has no interest in fixing the problems anymore than a home inspector is looking to fix problems found during an inspection. He went on to make statements like they were trying to help us, no good deed goes unpunished and we have a signed contract for the work. We paid out of pocket for the tile, as well as other materials for the job. Jonathan wants to walk away and leave me and my 87 year old 100% disabled Veteran husband to get everything he messed up fixed or do some patch job and live with the rest. We haven’t been able to use the shower at all. On days that my husband has dialysis he is too unstable to climb into the bathtub in the guest bathroom to use that shower so I help him bathe in the sink. We have no choice but get estimates to rip it out and get it done right and take Jonathan to court to cover the additional costs. This is not a company we do not want any more dealing with. We will also file a report with the Secretary of State. Jonathan said he is not a shady contractor that runs off with peoples money, yet, his company created a mess at our house and now he is angry at us because we sought professional help to show it was not done right and want him to fix it. This ordeal has been exhausting and very hard on my husband and I. We did everything we were asked to do. We had to go pick up supplies on our own. My husband can’t lift anything so I was out hauling materials and now that they made a mess, he is walking away. God bless you Jonathan and we will let the courts decide.

The team helped remodeled our 2 condos with a modern upgrade: removed the popcorn ceiling, repainted the walls, upgraded the bathroom from tub to shower, new fixtures... etc. Very happy with the turnout.
