Reliant homes are absolutely beautiful! And the small details in the homes makes it appear better than other homes we had looked at. Tommy, the Sales Representative, was very patient, inviting and knowledgeable. We chose to work with the builder lender after other lenders said NO! and basically shut the door on us. Patience is a virtue! Thanks to the reliant team I was able to close on the home and can’t wait to move in so my family and I can enjoy and creat memories. Thank you to the reliant team!

Kelly Bradley our sales agent very polite and knowledgeable... we were set on a definite house plan but wanted to move quicker so she shared more options and we went out looking.. fell in love with another house and bought in Grand Haven. We were told at closing we had a one year maintenance warranty... we submitted a few issues on the web site and we were contacted very quickly by the company handling each issue. Doug( project manager) even stopped by a few times to make sure we had gotten answers. The workers that came into the home were very polite and respected all the COVID restrictions.

We had a great experience having our home built from the ground up! Kelley was a great help during all the transitions! We were able to get details done like we wanted. Great 55 and up neighborhood at Grand Haven!

Nichole was awesome from the first encounter and remained awesome throughout the entire process of our house being built. Such an awesome experience from start to finish. Our builder Shannon Ivey takes great pride in the houses built in Calgary Downs, I would recommend them to anyone. Excellent company, excellent builders, excellent agent.

Let me tell you. The company builds a pretty house BUT. The total quality is of each home is below standard. Yes you have a year warranty but with lots of exceptions. The material used were sub grade. The subcontractors use low quality materials. They make their subcontractors skimp on materials. Yes there is a walk thru before closing , you are told to take your time and look at everything but really are cleverly rushed thru as is testimony from MaANY of my neighbors. Every home they have built in my neighborhood has electric issues because of cheap breakers.
Unless you hound them constantly they will brush you aside. And when a major design flaw appears shortly after your year warranty expires they refuse to help. Even though it’s from their cutting corners and installing the smallest unit allowed.
Over all if your looking to buy a Reliant home RUN. There are better builders out there. Check other review sites. -

We had a contract on a reliant home. 6 days prior to closing Reliant terminated the contract without any warning and refused to provide us with any reason as to why the did this. Hope Perry and the warranty manager were very condescending, rude, and difficult to work with. The overall experience was a total disaster, a waste of time, and finances.

WE WERE ONLY "LOOKING" WHEN WE FOUND GRAND HAVEN. WE WERE GREETED BY KELLEY BRADLEY AND SHE OFFERED TO SHOW US AROUND AND GIVE US A TOUR OF THE MODEL HOMES. LITTLE DID WE KNOW THAT OUR HOUSE WOULD SELL IN ONE DAY AND WE WERE ABOUT TO BECOME HOMELESS! WE CALLED KELLEY WITH OUR PROBLEM. SHE OFFERED BOTH BUILDING AND CURRENT SPEC HOUSE OPTIONS. WE NEEDED A HOUSE QUICKLY AND KELLEY BECAME OUR CHAMPION. THE HOUSE WE LIKED HAD APPLIANCES AND KITCHEN COUNTERS WE DID NOT WANT. KELLEY WORKED WITH THE BUILDER TO COME UP WITH OPTIONS TO REPLACE THOSE ITEMS. SHE ALSO SUGGESTED OTHER OPTIONS THAT MIGHT MAKE OUR HOUSE MORE LIVABLE LIKE A SCREENED PORCH FOR OUR CAT. IT WAS VERY REFRESHING TO WORK WITH A PROFESSIONAL WHO LISTENED TO OUR NEEDS AND SOLVED OUR PROBLEMS. KELLEY IS NOT A SALES PERSON; SHE IS A PROBLEM SOLVER AND NOW A FRIEND.

WE ARE IN OUR NEW RELIANT HOME IN GRAND HAVEN DUE TO AGENT KELLEY BRADLEY AND LOVE IT. BEING "SENIOR" HOME BUYERS WE WERE FULL OF DOUBTS AND FEARS. KELLEY TOOK THE STRESS RIGHT OUT OF THE BUYING AND SELLING PROCESS. SHE TOOK TIME TO ANSWER QUESTIONS QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. OVER AND OVER! WE ARE THRILLED WITH OUR NEW HOME AND COULDN'T BE MORE PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE AND BUILDERS. THANK YOU KELLEY FOR THE TIME AND EFFORT YOU SPENT WITH US, WE WOULD RECOMMEND KELLEY AND RELIANT HOMES TO ANYONE AND WOULD NOT HESITATE TO USE THEM AGAIN OURSELVES. I have lived in my house for 2 years. It looks beautiful at first but you just don’t see everything at first. There are no transition strips between laminate floor and carpet. Guess what carpet is fraying now. Paint is thin and watered down. You pretty much have to repaint.

Our home is my dream retirement home! The open floor plan makes it seem much larger. I was amazed at the details such as granite, hardwoods, extensive trim package and many other details and all in included in the sales price- not add-on's! All my communications with Reliant have been pleasant. Would definitely recommend.

I will be the first to admit Reliant builds a nice home. Sure there are upgrades that are overpriced, but at the end of the day their homes are fairly well built. Now to my experience. The house is not the only thing you have to contend with it's the actual home builder. My family was on our way to buying our third reliant new home. We found the Columns at Providence and really liked it. Agent with Reliant was nice and welcoming. We were not custom building we picked a home that was already underway. It had just been framed and you can't really change anything at that point, which is understandable. Now for our first big issue. If you don't use one of Reliant's preferred mortgage companies they will pay zero towards your closing costs. We had already decided to use our Credit Union because of a very low rate, so we decided the 10K in closing was not worth it. Second, if you don't use their preferred lender(s) you have to put down additional money. All in all with a flooring upgrade, we had to put down $12,600. Reliant updates you on the progress of the home. I contact the agent in July and ask if everything is on track. She says everything is fine. We quickly sell our current home and have a closing date set for early September, when Reliant says the home we are building will be finished. In early August we go to look at the home progress and not sure why but it was moving very slow. Covid is over, delays are no longer a valid excuse. I have my realtor ask the agent if September 5th is still a go. She comes back a few days later and says, nope, not going to happen. We need another four weeks after the September 5th original date. We explain we do not have another four weeks. My buyers need in ASAP, we have no where to move to (my husband and I have no family in Georgia). My rate of three points lower than the current expires on September 5th. Reliant comes back and says sorry, they can hopefully get it done by September 22nd. Reliant puts in their contracts delays may happen. They are allowed up to two WITH WRITTEN NOTICE. 30 days before I am set to close they decided to give us notice, but only because we asked. Their excuse was a damaged cabinet and fireplace delay. I am not sure when they were going to decided to let us know. We were devastated and they failed to understand we cannot afford to move two times, and lose our rate. It would cost us tens of thousands of dollars. We had no choice but to back out of the contract and quickly find another home. We begged for our money back (remember still this is a spec. home not a custom build). We are well aware we were the ones that had to end the contract, but Reliant also knew the circumstances and importance of being done on time. Their response was nope, you are getting nothing. We asked for half, but the again declined any amount of money. Reliant looses nothing from my family not buying their home. They re-listed it for 5K more than we were buying it for. I am now left picking up the pieces of this disaster from a builder that could really care less about a member of their community.
