I hired Remnar in 2020 to build my house, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The project faced several issues, including missed deadlines and subpar workmanship. Ed Rice in particular was very condescending and hard to communicate with.
Additionally, there were multiple instances where the quality of work did not meet the expected standards. For instance, the flooring was installed with large gaps that continue to grow over time exposing the subflooring, the wrong cabinets sizes were ordered and installed, the wrong interior doors were ordered and installed, the tilling had to be redone three times and 2/3's of the house had to have the siding repaired, along with accompanying water damage repair, and then repainted, all due to incorrect install of siding, IE: missing finishing nails, caulk, large gaps etc. The damage cost us over 30K in repairs on a new home. Despite bringing these issues to the contractor’s attention, the responses were often delayed, and the solutions provided were not satisfactory. He often uses his son Henry (14) to do finish work on the house, as a way to save money, which is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
On a positive note, the initial planning phase was smooth, and the contractor was communicative and helpful during that time. But given the execution and later repair issues, I would not recommend them based on my experience. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision.
