My experience working with the renovation specialists was very positive. They were incredibly helpful in addressing the areas of our home that needed improvements. They were also very professional and completed their work in a timely manner. I appreciated how they provided detailed advice and were open to our suggestions. I would definitely recommend this contractor to others looking for renovation specialists.

The job was to be a fence, screened in room and patio pour and stamped. Started in June 2022 it is now October 2022, and they still aren't finished. Sent out people who could not install a fence properly, the fence had to be taken down 3 times. Workers didn't show because they weren't being paid. Fence still not finished. No one has showed to work now for 5 weeks, but we are told they will be here every day, so they continue to lie to us. We have paid for the fence, and they said they needed more money to finish the job, so we paid them $11,000 and no one has shown up to work since then. We have requested out money be returned over and over with no response. The job was to be finished by the end of July 2022. I cannot believe Buildzoom recommended this Contractor. I paid to run a background on them and found out they had filed bankruptcy twice, have no assets and no backup money, I would think Buildzoom would have done a better job.

Kyle and Tim are crooks and you will regret ever giving them money. PERIOD. Don’t second guess this post - You will lose your money, they will make excuses, they will send un-vetted, Facebook market place workers who have no clue what they are doing. You’ll lose time and money and somehow they will still have the audacity to gas light you. If you are in a position where you’ve already paid them something and they want more money, your best choice is to not give them any more money (instead of paying a little more in hopes what they’re telling you is true i.e. more lies and excuses).

We signed contract in Dec for a back porch addition gave them money for the requested amount. They had someone come out Jan to dig a hole for concrete in our back yard. Nothing but a mud pit for our3 dogs. Finally July 28th we got concrete. they wanted more money hounding us so we gave them more thinking we would get materials. Did get a hand full of pieces of wood. The poor guys who have come out to try to do the framing have had no direction. They haven't even gotten paid we have had nothing, but excuse after excuse. It's Sept still nothing!!! they are roasting us now. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS they will take your money and ghost you.

It appears we have been ghosted by our contractor, despite multiple messages no one is responding to us with updates regarding our permit approval. This includes both Tim and Kyle, we were told That it was going to be escalated to the “fast track” since the city had not met the deadline for approving the project. Our last communication from the contractor was on June 24th when we were told to contact Kyle, Kyle was messaged and never responded.

We have multiple commercial properties in 4 states.
They took 50% deposit and won’t start the project or return my calls. Total failure of management.

They were very unreliable. It took them 2 weeks past the agreed date to start the project, then the work that was done was not done properly and had to be undone. When I fired them, they refused to return funds given to them to complete 1/3 of the project. They took me for thousands of dollars. I would not recommend them.

Renovation Specialists took care of my water damage following a water heater leak. They were fast to my house and thorough in clean up. Once the water was cleared and everything dried they worked to get my damage repaired. Of course my insurance company tried to take some short cuts, but Renovation Specialists was not having it! They submitted their own estimates and negotiated with insurance to return my home to the state it was in prior to the damage. Actually, as I write this I would argue that I am happier with my replaced flooring/painting/ and sink replacement! No one likes to come home to a water damaged home. Restoration Specialists turned my terrible moment into as positive an experience as I have had as a home owner. No hesitation recommending this company!

Great job you guys! Knocked out a 1 month project in 2 weeks. My wife is super happy and prices were reasonable. Thank you kyle!

Their work was so good that I added to the contract while they were still here!

Process was relatively straight forward. They gave me a couple of different options based on my budget and let me know what the different finishes would run me. For example quartz vs granite counters and how other finishes would affect my total cost. The only thing that held up the project was some of the materials I wanted were back-ordered and I had to wait until arrived. Everything went according to plan. The project which was pretty extensive was finished in a timely manner and they made sure that there was no trash or debris leftover when the job was done. I had that experience on a previous renovation I had done

Had a great experience with these guys. Hired them for a full office warehouse paint job and install racks and went great. will be using them again for my bathroom renovation end of 2021

Response and turnaround time was awesome! Had my kitchen and bathrooms remodeled while we were staying in the house, and hardly knew they were there most of the time. It was completed ahead of schedule and is exactly what we were looking for. Would reccommend to others and will be calling them again when we add our courtyard and patio!!
