I have held off on writing this review until now in an effort to see if Edmour Giguere from Remodeling Network LLC would participate in the mandatory mediation through the American Arbitration Association between myself and the extremely inept contractor he connected me with. This mediation process is stated in the contract Edmour Giguere drafted for me and the useless contractor he provided to sign. Since filing my case with the American Arbitration Association, Edmour Giguere has denied participating in mediation through his legal representation. His claim is that he acted only as a salesman in this process between myself and the idiot contractor he provided.

First and foremost, before I go any further with this review, when I first reached out to Ed to complain about the imbecile contractor he provided I was told by him “I no longer work with John Olmo from Chris J Construction”. From reading other negative reviews of Remodeling Network this seems to be a reoccurring event/statement from more of his clients that have been scammed. I must also say that Ed did offer to help pair me with another contractor after the issues with the original moron contractor. Now I ask you reading this review… Who in their right mind would trust working with another contractor from Ed at that point?? My attorney also told me that if I wanted to have a chance at recovering any funds, I needed to cut off anyone who was originally part of the first contract.

I’m going to leave this review on Ed and Remodeling Network LLC only. If I reviewed the terrible contractor he provided also, I would be here writing until next week. Below is in a nutshell of what to expect from Remodeling Network LLC and Edmour Giguere….

    - Ed meets with you and sells you a great story about how he will be with you from the beginning of your project until the end of your project. Describes his accolades and experience in the general contracting business.
    - Once you are ready to move forward he introduces you to a different shmuck general contractor who knows nothing. (I later find out mine was only licensed since 2020 and has liability insurance that covers almost nothing)
    - I ask for references and photos of work this general contractor has done that he is pairing me with. Ed responds with “it is on our website” (I later find out the contractor he set me up with never did a project of this magnitude in his life. I was his first and only project. Which was a $225,000.00 project)
    - I sign the contract that was drafted up by Ed for me and his shotty contractor. In the contract it states I need to provide a significant cash or check down payment, which is fine and I oblige. Through some research and things his contractor told me, I find out that significant cash or check down payment was to pay Ed his commission on the deal.
    - Once I signed that contract, I never heard from Ed again until I called him to complain about the moron contractor he provided. This was when he told me he no longer work with the general contractor he provided.
    - Ed then will claim he is only a salesman behind closed doors but post videos and pictures on social media of the project like he is hands on managing it himself.
    - Again I would review the contractor he provided but I would be here all week. Just know it has been A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!

In conclusion, I write this to try and save someone the worst experience of their life. If you have questions or concerns and want to reach out to me directly feel free. Unfortunately, I can not post my contact information as it won’t pass through the filters of these review websites. If I could, I would have no problem providing it.

Hello, Remodeling Network was not your contractor. You never signed a contract with Remodeling Network or gave any money to Remodeling Network. We acted solely as a sales person for Chris J. Construction. Thank you

    Full home renovation
    $320,000

This business is an absolute scam!!! Ed came to our house in 2021 to discuss a total home renovation. We liked him, he seemed to know his stuff. He then chose a contractor for our job (Alex Duque from ADS Renovation Group) and told us we need to put our $32,000 deposit down ASAP. We did. Ed made a lovely 10% off that $32k and never looked back. My family got all our drawings, approvals, variances etc to move forward with our project, even moved everything out of our house to get started only to find out that Alex (who ED chose to do our renovation) isn't even a licensed contractor and has been accused of insurance fraud on multiple occasions! Ed will claim he no longer does business with him anymore but how many families have to loose thousands of dollars and their homes to these evil people! Wheres our money ED!?!?!?!?

BEWARE! Hired Edmour Armond Giguere in winter of 2020. Ed came to our house, and met with our family. Said all the right things, was very charming, and he seemed knowledgeable. He signed us up with Alex Duque (ADS Renovation Group), formerly known as Petra Management Companies. 2yrs passed and absolutely no work was done to our house. At the time Ed said he was the "project manager", and would oversee the whole operation. This is false, as he was not involved at all after the contract was signed, and didn't oversee a damn thing. He simply took his commission check and went MIA. He also KNOWINGLY hooked us up with Alex, who is in fact, NOT a licensed contractor. Alex and Ed have been a team for many years now, cheating clients, and stealing their hard earned money. They talk a good talk, collect money upfront, then disappear. Ed has been doing this for years. Quick money, easy cash. We have spoken to associates who have formerly worked with Ed and they told us after the contract has signed he says " Can you smell the money!" What a disgrace. Please do your research as there are multiple lawsuits out against him, Alex Duque, Remodeling Network, and ADS Renovation. Please pay the $15 and do a thorough background check. Prior to Remodeling Network, he was Universal Sales Consultants, and EAG Consulting Services. Here are some links for your reference:

Check out the Facebook negative reviews of Remodeling Network. Check out the Facebook reviews of ADS Renovation. He has been sued multiple times, and has a friend who is his bankruptcy lawyer trying to keep him afloat. Check all the reviews online. Do not trust this man. He will scam you and take all your money. My family has been in contact with 10 families who he has done this to. He has been reported to Consumer Affairs, The Attorney General, and the police.

We contacted Ed, after our contractor lied to us and gave us excuses. He said he is no longer associated with him
(Alex Duque of ADS renovations) and said "if we don't sue him, he will help up find the right contractor to finish our job" Well, we aren't about to pay even more $ to finish, and CORRECT the horrible job that Alex did. Ed is 100% liable for all of this, as he vouched for and signed us up with Alex. He knew all along Alex was not qualified, and has had numerous complaints against him way before he signed us up with him. He did not care. He still did this to collect his commission check upfront.

Because of Ed, my family is out of more than $50K. Our house failed inspection with flying colors. Our roof is in danger of collapsing because of Alex and his unlicensed workers/company. Our house is in absolute shambles because of ED & ALEX. We have been putting together all the information, along with the other families that this happened to, and will be going to the media, and all major news outlets. Get your popcorn ready. STAY AWAY!

    Addition
    $80,000

My wife and I are expecting our second child and decided it was time to add some space to our little ranch. We stumbled upon Remodeling Network via Facebook advertisement, and we couldn’t be more thankful. Ed the owner was very professional and honest as he walked through our property and showed us all the possibilities we had for additions. The work came out fantastic and we would definitely recommend Remodeling Network!

    Rehab, addition
    $130,000

Wish there was a zero. Started working with this guy Ed around early March 2020. He was referred by our contractor. This guy is a snake. Came in very nicely made a lot of promises. Soon after he convinced us to give check to contractor for windows and lumber, he disappeared. Had very nasty behavior, took himself from equation and started blocking our calls. This is just a summary. He allows you to write check to contractor and not him big mistake. This guy and phony contractor took our money and no project was started and began making excuses. Please stay clear of him. If you do not believe us and want to proceed. Do not sign his contract and write all check to him because he wants to wash his hands clean. Don't know how this guy sleeps at night. I feel even these good reviews are a scam-It is a shame. Looks like anybody could get a license-just saying. Complete fraud. Run!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Addition
    $75,000

I saw an add on Facebook about Ed's services. Decided to try it out and I am thoroughly impressed. Managed to stay in my budget and the work he did came out beautiful and in a timely fashion. I had the second floor of my house remodeled and am looking to add a crawlspace addition for the downstairs as a future project and will definitely be using Remodeling Network to get that done. Thanks for everything Ed!

    full remodel
    $60,000

Ed connected us with a contractor and disappeared. A rehab that should have taken 3-4 months wasn't done after 9 months, AND STILL ISNT DONE. I had to fire the contractor and hire someone else and spend even more money. I thought Ed was going to manage the contractors but he did not. He told me on the phone he has 14 other flips going and his "hourly rate is very high"

I will never work with Ed again and I am disappointed I even trusted him in the first place. He took the commission to connect me and the contractor and disappeared.

Interior renovation - upstairs and basement

I worked with Ed starting in December 2018 to renovate my upstairs. He promised to help with suggestions, keep the job going, etc. but as soon as the contract was signed, he seemed to think the job was someone else's problem, absolving himself of any responsibility. The job started to drag months past the expected finish date. Workmanship issues came up, my house was flooded multiple times, and more. The job was ultimately not finished as stated in the contract. The experience could still have been remedied so that there were no hard feelings, but Ed's attitude was derogatory and rude. Spend your time and money on someone else, not with this company. He isn't interested in doing good work but making a quick buck.
