Met with Keith, arrogant is the key word. Some of his comments were, "why do you need me if you spoke to 50 contractors", I responded, "I didn't speak to 50 contractors, but I did speak with some and some architects. He estimated $2,500 for plans and said I could use them with any other contractor. I asked would he be willing to work with another architects plans? No was the answer, Keith's price was a $1,000 more than other bids. Then he said the project would be about $38,000, I said I liked that price and understand it's not final. I asked would you send me your estimate via email. Keith said no, I'm giving you the price verbally. I said thank you and ended our meeting.
