Very professional, but his quote was higher than the other we landed on.

By Erica S.December 14, 2020Verified HireExterior wall repair after a foundation project
My 100 year old house had a foundation issue that, once fixed, did major damage to an exterior wall. Ray did a great job explaining the needs of the project to me and communicating with me throughout. I ended up adding a few extra jobs to the project as they presented themselves during the process. While various crews came to do the work, Ray was on-site most days and always communicated with me in terms and who was doing what when. As a single woman homeowner I appreciated feeling respected and listened to. I will definitely work with Ray again in the future.

They made it a great experience. They listen to what I was looking and had the knowledge and know-how to get the job done. Yes, I would hire them again.

We hired Ray McDowell for a kitchen renovation in 2014 for $30,000. His sub-contractors were like rookies, unable to do their jobs. Paint runs, different colors of paint, wrong colors, door problems, you name it it happened. Horrible experience. After continuously insisting on things being done right, he ghosted us and abandoned the job 50% through. Had to take him to small claims court and won a $8,734 judgement. He did not show up. We slapped a lien on his house for that amount. DO NOT hire this man!
