Not surprised to see another negative review on Nathan Dipasqua. I wouldn't wish this guy on my worst enemy! At first, all seemed great working with him, but all of a sudden things changed. He came in to help us because we were taken for quite a lot of money from another contractor. He acted like he cared and was doing it as a "favor" to us, which we told him, this is our business please don't do us any favors." He would call and talk my ear off for over an hour every time about his personal issues, and why they were getting in the way of his work (and after the previous contractor issue, that was the last thing I needed). We were clearly butting heads, because I did not want to make time for all of the issues he was having, so I asked for a ledger so we could reconcile the money and go our separate ways, but he stopped answering his phone one day, and took off with over $5,000 of the funds I gave him in trust of materials/ labor (I realized after reviewing who and what had been paid for), and has not returned any calls since. Trust me, I am not the type to ever review someone- but I have to in this case. Homeowners, BEWARE.

Excuses turned into lies...This is not a consulting practice....We are disappointed with the total experience that is named Renaissance Remodeling and Consulting. Little cooperation with this contractor led to slow work, poor communication, unfinished stages of this job. Beginning with cement poured down irrigation tubes to misplaced bathroom cabinets leading to a butchered countertop....We are still finding poorly executed phases of almost every step of this job.. Final straw was a late night knock on the front door from DiPasqua with a policeman claiming that if we didn't sign off on his job we would be charged with Fraud and Theft....Avoid this guy. We're sorry we chose this overwhelmed rookie
Response from Renaissance Remodeling & Consulting LLC June 8, 2015This person was combative and changed moods frequently. He kept adding to the project after it was almost done. He moved in before the time he signed on paper so we had to try to complete the project with him living there which slowed it down. His kid kept messing up the trim and he kept making us re-paint it. This project was through a construction loan so bank appraisals had to come out to verify the work. We have text messages with remarks that are not appropriate and some emails (which mood changes through emails so does not seem so illusive). The person would not let the appraisal in the house so we could not get paid. I have had many sub contractors quit the job because they are not comfortable around the project owner and his demeanor. Some of them did come back if I was there though. I had to block his number because I would get many text messages at a time. He then switched his number during the project. I would also get random calls saying how horrible and unskilled we were with vulgar language. The appraisal was from a 3rd party as to not be in favor of the contractor or project owner. They still owe around $20,000. I called the police, and the officer walked the house with me and the project owner but around the officer the person seemed normal. The officers said this will be a civil matter if the project owner does not let the appraiser into the house.

Nate was a compete joke charges double the price then other contractors. His helper was did 90% of the work and he was never really there nor knew or cared what was really going at the project. I'm was out of town working and didn't really know what was going on at the house during the remodel and barely communicate to let me know what's going on during the remodel. Left a mess on the side of my house and I had to clean up after his mess and went and dumped my own trash. Almost at end of the job gave me a bill with extra charge that I was not aware not just a couple hundred extra but couple thousands extra. So I argued with him and told him I didn't agree on the extra charges so he threatened to call city on me for a couple thing in my house that wasn't gonna pass code. So I fired him and still paid him in full and was offered $200 off for a $1000 job that was left unfinished. It your willing to pay double the price then other contractors. This guy is a total rip off!!!
