I'm going through my old emails came across this email, and I feel obligate to write this email to you regarding my experience with Rendon Construction Inc.. As we get further into the project, I discovered that there was very poor to none when it comes to planning and coordination of jobs especially the project as big and extensive as my project. There was no daily supervision of job site. The billing process was ambiguous and no transparency at all. The company severely lacks talent workers, and that really translates into the workmanship. At the end, I decided to let him go. I'm writing this review not to get my revenge, but to prevent another home owner from making a same mistake. Rendon Construction might be a good fit for a small project, but certainly not a big project.

I wish I would have read the other 1-star review prior to hiring Rendon Construction, as we are going through the exact same problem right now. Our project has had very little oversight, and what little there has been, has been done poorly, to where I have caught so many things at the last minute, or after it was too late, and the result was less than satisfactory results.
When discussing project details, never once did Shawn write down a single thing, and when I asked about why he wasn't taking notes, he said "I don't need to write things down." I had to spend several hours every week managing tasks, noting issues for later, reminding about account credits we were waiting for etc, because I knew Shawn was not keeping track. I didn't have time for that, nor should I have had to since we were paying for him to manage the project. If I would have made any one of his mistakes in my current job, I'd have been fired.
We had several big misses that we are going to pay the price to fix. Unfortunately trying to get the last few items in has been a struggle with weeks at a time of no update or plan to get things scheduled. Here we are several months over our original end date and no end in sight, and without the final product we paid for
Just to put things into perspective, I totally understand that home renovations are stressful regardless of who your contractor is. However, my husband and I didn't feel the stress of the common things that make it stressful: we agreed on materials, style, and budget. Aside from having to be out of having the conveniences of a home for a while, the only stressful thing was really dealing with Shawn.
Please please please do yourself a favor and consider other options unless you want a huge never-ending headache and poor quality in your final renovation.
