The (2) subs you refer to (Insulation and drywall) are fantastic and we have worked with them for over 8 years. They stand behind their work 100%, and if the customer is not happy about anything we always address their concerns and fix it to ensure they are satisfied...ALWAYS. Out of over 700 project over the past 9 years you are the ONLY one that we had to terminate the project because of your abuse. I sent you a contract 9/19 and never heard a word till 2/20 when you abruptly showed up with a deposit. You picked product, made changes from the original scope, and signed a written "change order" based on exactly what you wanted. We installed exactly how you wanted it, but you didn't like how the original framing of the walls didn't line up exactly once the flooring was installed. This was a water damage and all we did was cosmetic repairs (nothing structural). (We caused NO DAMAGE to your home.) We didn't frame the condo, some other company did probably 50 years ago. You became mean and a verbally abusive and made to where we could not do our job. I have emails to prove it! We mutually agreed to stop the project and we came to an agreement in which you paid us for the work we did. You got paid by the insurance company to have another contractor of your choice complete the final little bit of repairs. Threatening to file a complaint with the CCB doesn't scare us. I just wish we had a better system to warn contractors of people like you.

We were extremely pleased with the quality of work and the professionalism of Mike and his crew at Renovation Concepts. We never had a problem getting ahold of Mike if we had a question or concern. He never hesitated to make adjustments based on our needs and the work was always completed according to schedule. When referred to this company, we were told of all the knowledge and experience they encompassed which was visible after the installation of new carpet, vinyl, and laminate flooring. I would never hesitate doing business with them again, in fact, I encourage it!

My insurer recommended them to me. I could not have been more disappointed. Communication was awful, the subs they used were not good, and the quality of their own work was only fair. But the worst was their refusal to stand by their work after causing damage to my home. I will be filing a complaint with the Construction Contractors Board.
