Beware of this company!!!
They will not honor their warranty. I have had a leak around my chimney since the day they finished replacing my roof and have refused to fix it or even return my calls, though the contract stated a 5-year workmanship warranty. My roof replacement was proactive, and I had no leaks before the work done by Rescue Roofing. I now have damage inside my home resulting from attempts to work with this company and to get them to honor the warranty I was given. I have been forced to do what I can myself and contact another company to do the repairs.
They have continuously made promises to address the problem but have never followed through or shown up when they said they would. Week after week, month after month, they have played this game. I have been more than patient, given them every benefit of the doubt, and given them multiple chances to fix the problem. It has been a year and despite repeated calls and texts, which they no longer answer, they have not fixed the leak or addressed the cracked shingles.
The work done was sloppy. Extra shingles were left on my roof as well and have now melted into the new shingles installed underneath. They left my yard and attic a mess. Again, I was assured that they would take great care to leave everything clean, as though they were never there. I picked up dozens of nails from my driveway. My flowerbeds were littered with tar paper, plastic, shingle pieces and cigar tips thrown all over my yard by one of the workmen.
I paid them $12,300 to do a full replacement 4/2017. My contract was for Owens Corning architectural shingles in the Storm Cloud design. I specifically asked about the shingles to be used on the ridges and was told they would be using shingles designed for that purpose. Instead they cut cheap, grey, 3-tab shingles that do not match my roof and look terrible. Many of the shingles have protruding nails and several have buckled. The ridge vent they installed was also damaged upon installation.
I filed a complaint with BBB and received notification from them that Rescue Roofing has not responded to their inquiries either. I cannot understand why this business is still showing an A+ rating.
I would NEVER recommend Rescue Roofing to anyone based on my experience.
