    We hired Jose Lopez, owner of Resilient Construction, for a flooring project in July 2025. He was very communicative until the moment we paid him a deposit. Prior to receiving any money, he would return my texts and calls immediately and wrote “as soon as I receive the deposit I can put you on the schedule and will have someone out this week.” The moment he received our $3000. He disappeared for 10 days. When he finally responded, he made several appointments to come out to do our floor was a no show every time. I believe all the recent five star reviews he has are suspicious profiles… profiles that have never given ANY reviews on ANY company but now a five star review on resilient construction? Hmmm
    There is an entire Instagram account, dedicated to people who have been wronged by Jose Lopez as well as Reddit threads filled with customers who he’s taken money from and ignored completely or only did partial work.
    I am surprised and saddened because he had done work for us in the past. I even purchased a baby gift for his son born this summer, that’s how much I thought of him.
    He asked for us(again) to give him until 10/14/25 to pay us back. I will amend my review when he pays us back but it will stay up until that happens. I highly recommend you do your research on Jose Lopez and Resilient Construction before hiring him. And certainly do not give him any money upfront
